Re: Bathing Suit Season
I'm amused by the guests who view their bathing suit (and body therein) as a tool to obtain dining reservations.
This week a woman came in from the pool wearing a bikini and coverup. That was neither surprising, inappropriate, nor unusual. Neither was it surprising that she wanted reservations for Chef Mickey's that evening.
"Sorry ma'am, Chef Mickey's is completely sold out for the night. It's a very popular spot."
"Could you look again please?" she asked, slowly unbuttoning her coverup and making goo-goo eyes at me.
"Ma'am, there is no quantity of buttons you could undo to create an empty table at Chef Mickey's. Besides, he's more of an ear man anyway."
Lucky for me, she took the hint and wandered off muttering something like, "Stupid faggots around this place...."
This is why my co-workers most like having me around. None of them have the nerve to say something like that.

Wow, now that's a fun and completely inappropriate/ignorant comment. I think that far surpasses a SG. Maybe we could come up with an IASG - Ignorant A**hole Stupid Guest. That would so make me want to make a quick little note in internal comments on her folio/res...not that it would do much.

Zazu,
I feel that I now have to come in and make some stupid request of you on our next trip. Not sure what it will be, but I better make it a doozy!!!! :D:
But I promise I won't wear a speedo. Celebration Hospital is not big enough to handle all the trauma cases that would ensue.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

And had I been there, I would have laughed before she was out of earshot as she called you what she did.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
Re: Bathing Suit Season
Maybe she was actually referring to Mickey himself. Ear Man my butt. How long has he been dating Minnie now with no marriage? I say he's Oprah and Minnie is his Stedman. Not sure who his Gayle would be tho'. Goofy? Donald?Zazu wrote:Lucky for me, she took the hint and wandered off muttering something like, "Stupid faggots around this place...."
