We landed there once. The Buenos Aires airport was fogged in so we had to divert.

I'm not afraid of flying, I just really hate being in an airport. Ticks me off majorly that TSA assumes I'm a terrorist until I prove otherwise, and even then.

Since 9/11, I've only flown when there was an ocean in the way so I couldn't drive or take the train.

Next August I have a meeting to attend in Santa Rosa, CA. I'm trying to decide if I'll drive or take the train. Train is nicer, but you have to go thru DC since Amtrak stopped running the Sunset Limited east of New Orleans. Plus it's much easier to make a detour through Anaheim if driving!

Once you're done in Santa Rosa head over the mountain for a Wine Country tour. :driver: Remember, anywhere else in the country it's known as drunk driving. :toast:

Forget that! I'm planning on having the banquet aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train!

I fly when I have to. I avoid driving long distances too. My parents have gone on Amtrack and had a ball.

What causes TSA to think you are a terrorist?

Disneyland gets allot of bomb threats and allot of them are hoax.

Apparently just trying to get aboard an airliner is enough. I could understand it if I didn't have a ticket....

BW and I (I don't know hhsrat's opinion) would love to take a train on our trip to DL but we just don't have the time. Taking the train sounds like a lot of fun and definitely is more scenic than a plane. We are flying into San Diego and taking the Surfliner up to Anaheim. Avoids the mess of LAX and gets us on a train for a few hours.

I thought there was a no fly zone over the parks? I see major airlines still do that. Ups will fly low over the park and sometimes it looks like it is landing near the hotels.

The MK at least used to be a no fly zone but the other parks weren't and I'm not so sure the MK is one anymore either.
