In the unlikely event of both power sources failing at once, they will stop each monorail at the Magic Kingdom station and transfer steam power from one of the WDW Railroad locomotives.

rats have more power force per paw.
Rats are also willing to eat food from Aramark, which hamsters are not.

Um, Hobie? Have you seen the size of the D cells at Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin? Those puppies are ginormous!

Ginormous?!?! I'll show ya ginormous!
I got to install these monsters as part of switching systems when I was an FE for Northern Telecom. We used engine lifts to move them.

I'm pretty sure we used similar sized batteries inside of the little trains @ Calico Mine Ride...unless that's one giant battery. Ours was just a single battery. The mechanics told me that the batteries we used on the trains would also work inside their forklifts.

Batteries for trains/forklifts are designed for continual drain and rapid recharge.
The CO battery string I pictured could take days to fully recharge if drained. The CO power systems are designed to have a constant charge and if AC is lost, either keep the switching system up for a short time until a local generator kicks in or allow for an orderly shut down of the system(s).

I am pretty sure my forklift battery is bigger than one of those.

Depending on voltage and duration between charges, forklift batteries range from approximately 471 (12 V) to 3864 (48 V) pounds in weight.

Sadly, they are. Aramark runs all but one or two of the cast cafeterias and some convenience-type stores (attached to break rooms) across WDW.

Sodexo is equally bad... they do my whole campus. You think no one can ruin a Chick-Fil-A? They can.
