This is good news. Is this 'gentleman' going to pay for the court costs?

I'm screwed. There's only one on the island but I do have a secret weapon.
Not long after I met her I watched my future wife convert a Stanford resident neurologist (a very ego driven breed) from God to, "Yes ma'am." in about three minutes. It was a sight to behold.

ALWAYS stand up for yourself- I've caught MD's making a mistake more than a few times, it is a good idea to tell them if you think they have. Bru-what happened to you seems unbelievably horrible, I am so sorry. :(
It seems I've heard of several young women getting blood clots in their legs from The Pill, which can cause a stroke. Any unusual pain in your legs should be checked out.

The first time I wanted to listen to the RNP and believe what she was saying, but my wife's gut was right. We left the doctors office, and a couple of hours later took my two year old to the ER where he was admitted immediately for dehydration.

Spent a week in the hospital with him.
The second one was the anesthesiologist for our daughter's birth. He was a conceited donkey who wouldn't listen when the Mrs. was telling him "forget the anesthsia - she's here."
She got the shot in the back, was rolled over, delivered Abby and THEN her lower half went numb.
Needless to say she was pissed and let the CEO of the hospital know it.

Yup- I was in a scary situation at the time and so had been on the shot- and that is what they attribute the stroke to.
Trouble with me being I have had constant pain in my legs since I was tiny so for me, leg pain wouldn't raise the flag it should have but it's great that you mentioned it because everybody should know...
I still have nightmares about that experience...

The hospital where delsmom works has their own version of this.... Its called an Indecent Report ! It can involve any action or interaction between caregivers, pharmacists, and anyone else on payroll, which might affect patient care or outcomes.
They take them very seriously. Even seemingly minor incidents get reviewed and analyzed, to see what can be done to prevent them in the future.
This allows other caregivers to ensure that Drs with God Complex are brought down to earth rather quickly. Those whose ego posses a risk to patient care are brought to task, and those who don't buy into the program move on to other pastures. Since it is one of the top hospitals of its kind in the world, there is a waiting list of Drs, nurses, and others who want to practice or do an exchange there. It might not be a perfect system, but it does work well.

I love how they leave out the fact that he had the stroke like 2 weeks after riding ToT in this quote...
The man suffered the stroke 12 years ago after riding the Tower of Terror,
