Turkeyham, I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. May she rest in peace, and may your family find comfort during this difficult time.
Bru, I should have known to bring a box of Kleenex to the computer when I saw your story coming up about the fairy godmother/fathers and your room upgrade. I'm very glad you shared that story with everyone - as was mentioned earlier, I think we all needed it. Aren't CMs amazing people? They give and share and give some more, creating magic and comfort for guests who enter their world. How privileged we are to have them in our lives.
To our wonderful CMs - Thank You.

(((((((((Wazzup))))))))))))))))
(((((((((Turkeyham))))))))) I am so sorry about your Aunt. Rest her soul...
Guys, we just got a phone call not long ago. Grandma has taken a serious turn for the worse- they are having trouble now with her heart (which was fine before) and regulating her blood pressure which is the really bad news She has orders in place...
I wish there was more I could do for March. I have walked this road but I know there's only so much anyone can do. His parents are headed back to CT it's a 3 hour drive from where they are.
Please, keep Saint March and his grandma (it's my husband's grandma turkeyham, I lost mine five years ago this November) in your thoughts tonight.
I just don't want her to suffer.
hugs to all and thanks for the overwhelming support.
love,
bru

Rather teary-eyed to hear about the latest, Bru. I was very close to my Paternal Grandma who died in 2001. Still think about her all the time.
My thoughts are with you and March , and hoping you can keep strong at this very tough time.

I have to take my kindness from somewhere. It's a balance thing. I used to do it to the Sable Antelope, but then I stopped seeing them. It was a mutual thing.
February, I am sorry to hear all this. When are you guys going to get a break? For you and St. March, the same offer you have extended to me, I extend to you. You guys need someone on the outside to listen, I am happy to. Can't say I will do it wordlessly, but I will try. I will listen.
Keeping you guys and Saint March's grandmother in my prayers.

Thanks, Wallaby, big hugs to you my friend.
March's Grandmother passed away a few hours ago.
I am grateful that she's not suffering now and is at peace.
All I can say at the moment about the woman she was and the life she lived is this: this is a lady who, after having had both knees replaced (and being widowed) still traveled to Ireland, hung upside down in Cork and kissed the Blarney Stone. This was only about ten years ago. I admired her greatly.
She loved people with her whole heart and lived her life to the fullest.
If only we could all leave a legacy like she has, the world would be a much better place. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Thanks everybody for all your support the past week, it has really helped us a lot.
love to all
bru

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know that your hubby's grandma is now in a better place, free of pain and you will be reunited in heaven one day. May your happy memories of this wonderful lady keep you going during this hard time. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

She sounds like a great lady who lived life to its fullest. And, at least one of her grand kids turned out to be a great guy. Good bloodlines, DNA, all that stuff.

Sorry to hear this. All I can think is that she was needed to be a guardian angel for someone who desperately needed one, so she was called on to do that job.
