Now that everyone's back to their funny selves again, I was going to post a few poems from a book of poetry we have lying around on the subject of pet loss, but it's too late. Don't want to spoil the party, you know. But if anyone's interested, at http://www.catchannel.com, they have a section for pet loss. They have sections for other things cat as well. There's a http://www.dogchannel.com as well for dog lovers, and I assume it's the same but with a dog focus. Orion looked alot like my cat Tripod's dad, Smokey, but as I recall, Smokey had a bit more muscle to his build.

Well, I think this thread is a lot like the gathering after a funeral....First you cry, then you start rambling about various things, laugh at good memories, share pictures and somehow come out at the other end of a terrible day.
When I die, I hope everyone gets to eat a lot of food, listen to good music, and maybe they can raffle off my Disney Pins!!! I will look down at everyone and enjoy seeing them all together telling stories of the crazy things I said and did. :p:

When I die...

When I die I want to be cremated and have my ashes mixed into a five gallon can of floor wax. The wax will be used on the floor of a large hall.

A big party will be thrown with a live band so everyone can have a last dance on me.

Feline fan, Orion had a LOT more muscle mass before the cancer. He was a cat who once weighed 25 lbs, then due to diabetes, went to down to about 18 and stayed there for many years until the cancer made him start losing weight so fast. He was so *robust*! :D: I will find a pic of him when he was healthier. Most of the digipics I have are of this past year when he was sick. Most of my pics of him healthy are on film! I have to scan and transfer those. I just LOVE big gray cats. I want more gray cats. I have one still, my Tawny who is a beautiful silver gray Angora. She is my bestest friend and 15 yrs old. She has been with me since she was just a little bitty thing. I will try to find a pic of her, let me go see what I have on file. She is real purty! :D:
