It it weren't for the high water table they could build a massive underground facility. Instead a Luxury resort on Discovery Island. Congratulations SG you have one a two night stay at the Grand Discovery Resort. SLAM, zap, snoring sounds and the deprogramming of the SG begins. I got it all set up.

They are served a meal.

Handler/Manager: Sir you know better than to yell.
Guest: MY DAMNED EGGS ARE RUNNY

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAP

Guest: WTF
Handler/Manager: I am sorry but rude behavior ends in a shock. You will learn more in class which is in 15 minutes so eat your breakfast, sir.

I would love to found a city, state, or country where you didn't need laws or courts, because people just understand the difference between right and wrong. I mean, seriously... those of you here, is it really the laws and rules that keep you from, say, stealing something every time you go into a store? No, it's the fact that you know it's... say it with me now, "Wrong."

I think they tried that once, back in the late 18th century, where they started this country on the idea that man has a right to govern himself, and it worked for a while. But then, those with the SG tendencies started showing their true colors. Sad that such a minority of people can ruin it for the rest of us that would rather enjoy the freedom, not do anything to hurt another person, govern ourselves and live our lives. But for some, that is too much to ask.

Amen to the first paragraph. But interestingly, as to the second, I am reading a biography of John Adams now, and it struck me how much our system of government was set up with checks and balances precisely because they knew no one can be trusted with unbridled power. True, the founders did state that an underlying accepted moral order was required for a truly free society, but they also recognized mankind's sinful nature and built in ways to keep its impact on governance from getting out of hand.

Now, I could go off into how I think our government has strayed far from that and basically has unchecked power now, but I don't want to aggravate myself too early in the morning...

I think you may have come upon the answer as to why there are SG's....The migrated from England and europe before we could stop them!! and have infected the population!!

We got to stop them!!! I know, first lets build a wall around New York....
and put the SG's there, then they couldn't escape from New York...

Wait.. that sounds similar to a movie I saw....

Wheres Snake Pliskin when we need him???

That one too!, except it does show that the SG's won! (Isn't that the real agenda with them, they want to destroy and/or possess the park (Judy Tenuta?)

IF I remember right, and its been a long time since I have seen the film, they didn't really come out and say Disneyland. They did show the Shark from the universal tour, but I really don't think that the depiction of the "park" looked like Disney (perhaps some legal opinions were offerred by Disney?)
