Oh, you said crows. Then they should have been able to use a ruler!
I don't know, having had the "joy" of driving around Boston, I am pretty sure that cows and horses paths pretty much designated where the streets would be.
even my GPS said to just give up, go to a dunkin donuts and ask for directions!
I am sure Florida is the same.

You are absolutely correct. Most of the downtown Boston streets are built following old cattle paths. True!

Haven't been on here in a few weeks, but I log on and find this thread, which is now near and dear to my heart...
Last Saturday I was broadsided by someone running a red light. (He said he was paying attention to his GPS and not the traffic light) Hit me on my drivers' side rear door and rear tire, side airbag and both side curtain airbags deployed. The roads crossed at a slight angle, so it was partly a glancing blow, just spun me 90 degrees around, and I was uninjured.
But it did one heck of a bit of damage to the rear wheel and axle.
Good thing I was in a mid-size SUV and he was in a little 4-door compact. His car escaped in running condition but with bumper damage and both headlight smashed. Might've been quite different if the vehicles had been reversed, or if he'd been going faster than the 30MPH I estimated him as doing.
Scariest part was that I didn't see him until he was out my side window, about 1 car-length away from hitting me.

Rob, I'm so sorry. I was rear-ended in December and am still going to therapy. The twit was texting while driving. Hope everything is ok with you and that your vehicle can be repaired.

New driving duh:
I was at a red light, when for some reason the car in front of me decided to try and put their car in reverse when the light turned green. They almost hit me, and I honked...one of the few times I actually do. I hate honking.
Awesomely/randomly, there was a cop RIGHT in the next lane, who took interest in what just occurred. He managed to slip right inbetween me and the offending driver and flash his lights and pull them over. Least I didn't get hit.

Well, that was fun. I just had a first hand experience with one of these myself. I was exiting the 5 south at Chapman/State College, and was crossing State College on the green to go east on Chapman, when some idiot in a black SUV decides that traffic laws don't apply to him and powers through the intersection. I was damn lucky I was able to stop before I t-boned the idiot.
