As long as the navigation socket has direct access to flight systems, astromech droids can pilot craft....so your dream isn't too far fetched! :)
The crazy thing is, that was not the first time I had a dreamed about riding Star Tours 2.
I'm really looking forward to the new ride.
I really hope that more info about it is released soon!
