Woooooooot! Wallaby, you're a prince among marsupials.

Thanks so much dude, you rock. I emailed you the names of the managers btw in case you want to note that on the print out that would be great.

That is just too cool. It'll be there tomorrow. Wow. thanks.

And everybody- I did get to see a couple of Perseids last night! It was incredible. Two were just white flashes but one was a bright blue streak, straight across the sky.

I can't tell you how it felt to see it- I've been waiting a whole year hoping I might be able to. The big ugly glasses can no longer be called such. even if they do make me look like Wall-E... (or Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls) they're beautiful to me.

no update on Grandma today, likely tomorrow.

thanks again for all your support and for sharing in the happy things that can be shared too.

xoxo

PS oh yeah, one funny thing I forgot to mention. When I got home, before I got my pictures developed (and I will put some in my profile soon even though they came out dark- give a camera to the visually impaired this is what you get) I looked online for pictures of the room to show the Saint. when I found them, I said, "Huh, I didn't see a wet bar..." then I realized, it was behind the sliding closet doors I'd rested my forearm crutch up against so it wouldn't fall over during the night *Rofl* I don't drink- so it never occurred to me that behind those doors would be anything but a coat closet- which honestly I couldn't fathom because I think the walk in closet in this room was bigger than the rooms at the All Stars. *laugh*.

Only I could mistake a hidden wet bar for a coat closet. This is even funnier when you consider that I was puzzled that I couldn't find a drinking glass in the room to pour my can of soda into. (sadly I had no appetite to eat anything from the concierge lounge! But the soda was handy and helpful- it was so hot) Now I realize there was likely a full cupboard of them with the bar...I'm such a dork.

You're right, Main Streeter. Wallaby is definitely the real deal when it comes to the true spirit of Disney Magic.

Hey, this is post 42 in the thread! That's cool. Ten imaginary bonus points for anyone who knows why that's cool to me *laugh*. Likely anyone who knows would definitely be a very hoopy frood, aware at all times where their towel is.

Okay, so now I see it's actually post 43. Close enough LOL.

You know, this place, and the people who populate it, is really something. I have to tell you. In the span of the past thirteen years or so of being online I've been to a lot of message forums- and even met people in person from them before. But there is something special about this place and especially our regular crew (or the 'usual suspects' as I've come to refer to you all around the house) I would love to meet so many of you guys that I didn't get a chance to. I swear, next time I'm down in WDW I may have to do something with Group Dining...

I hope everybody has a good day today. I'm smiling thinking of the look that may be on those managers' faces at the GF when they see my post. Thanks again, Wallaby...

Ding ding!!!! Hobie wins!

What you win, I haven't decided yet. Perhaps if I can procure the ingredients needed to make a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, I shall have to send them on to you there on the island.

Bru,

I got a call from my mom this morning. She and my dad made it home safely last night. My uncle left a message on their machine. My aunt passed away about 6 pm in her sleep. Excuse me while I grab the klenex.
My mom and will be leaving out om Sunday and will be going to the services on Monday. I will not be able to go because of work and watching their house. My aunt will be creamated. She was only 70. She had Lupus and had other illnesses. What through all of us off was when her kidneys backed up and she gained 75 lbs in water. They had her on a few machines and allot of drugs. :(

My only complaint is how he treats the boars. Image

My parent's e-mailed everyone in our family. Mom and dad sent them flowers. I just got a card out the mail to my Aunt's family.

Thanks everyone. :)
