There's another feed lot around Kettleman City on 5. You can smell that place for miles!!CBeilby wrote:It is. The 5/99 Split is about 150 miles south of Fresno, and 35 miles or so south of Bakersfield.
True, but what if it was a straight shot?Big Wallaby wrote:So long as they're not limited to 12 mph. That would make TTC to AK a long trip.
That would be cool, unless it was limited to 12 mph :D:GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Now THAT would be cool, a steam train from MCO to WDW!!!!

Yeah, but Harris Ranch is nowhere near Fresno.hobie16 wrote:There's another feed lot around Kettleman City on 5. You can smell that place for miles!!
That's the place! If the wind is blowing in the right direction the smell goes all the way to Fresno.CBeilby wrote:Yeah, but Harris Ranch is nowhere near Fresno.
Only for mass transit, such as a line to the airport and Amtrak station. It's no more suitable to the multiple-destination, small-group travel that's most of the on-property traffic.ktulu wrote:I vote for more steam trains :D:
That scares me a little. Especially since I ride that same bus twice every day. I already knew they sometimes put the bad drivers back there but I don't like being reminded of that.ectomstr wrote:ha, i had a bus driver taking me into work the other afternoon that was dancing (yes, dancing) in her seat all the way to toontown. she stopped there cause she went up and over the curb.
It's one thing to be fun, another to do things like... dance. Going around that curve at Toontown is one of the more technical moves a bus at Disney World has to make... not all that technical for a seasoned motor coach operator, but if you got your license at Disney World, chances are that turn takes some work compared to anything you do. Also, the fact it's a REALLY high curb should give one pause before dancing around it.ectomstr wrote:ha, i had a bus driver taking me into work the other afternoon that was dancing (yes, dancing) in her seat all the way to toontown. she stopped there cause she went up and over the curb.
