If you're not old enough to remember the 60s, there were alot of protests, some violent, for women's rights, anti-war, racial equality, etc.. The three new weapons were the riot tank, which blasted protesters with extremely loud sirens as well as tear gas; liquid mace, which is still in use, though somewhat supplanted by pepper spray; and what was referred to as "Instant Banana Peel". It was a powder that was sprinkled on pavement in front of an approaching pack of protesters, then wetted down with firehoses. Standing on it, never mind walking or running on it, would cause one to hit the ground instantly, as it was super-slippery. The riot tank is sometimes still used, though mostly overseas, from what I've seen lately; whatever became of Instant Banana Peel, I wonder? That would be great for keeping SGs off forbidden areas.

Oh my!! I remember training with Instant Banana Peel!!

The problem was that the stuff would render an area useless and had to be scrubbed down with a cleaner.

some of the more modern stuff is being developed by the military has a similar effect!!!

I'd like an extra large order of that stuff for the California letters in front of DCA...

That's a perfect example of taxpayers money being used to develop stuff for the military and uses found in the civilian sector. Can you say GPS?

Install an automatic stop at the end of each row of theater seats. Put Instant Banana Peel on the seats and watch SGTs slide all the way to the end.

That banana stuff would be good for an instant slip and slide water slide. You don't need the slide any more. Place it where you want it, add water and it will keep the kids entertained for the whole summer. :D:

Also, for those who don't pay attention when the line moves for a busy attraction, that would be useful. I think it would be good for It's a Small World and Finging Nemo.

I think you are right, but it would be fun for the annoying cheer leaders. They cheer and slide away from you, so you won't loose your hearing.

Where do you get the banana powder from? I have never heard of it. All I know they sell dry ice in the super markets and it can be deadly used the wrong way. Home made M-80's.
