Give 'em $20 for the movies and move while they're gone.

Darn! They need a state where you can do it with any age, including OVER 18. For years, my brother's eight kids kept yammering about how they hated his rules, couldn't wait to move out the second they turned 18, yada yada yada blah blah blah. Then they turned 18, realized that moving out includes something called "bills," and suddenly the household rules weren't so bad. Some eventually mated and left but I think a few are still crawling around and occasionally ditching grandchilds for months at a time...kinda like their own personal Nebraska.

Easy fix, just tell them you are going for a ride, put them in the car, and drive to an Army recruiting station!

They either join, or go get a job and move out!

hehehehehhee

My first month at jaws I was at pre-board and at the last second before boarding a kid decided he didn't want to ride. And by "decided" I mean he was crying and clinging to a stanchion refusing to move. So the family left him. They got on the boat and were gone before I had a chance to signal the load operator to stop.

Meanwhile the kid is still crying and clinging to the pole. I got the load operator to combine and took the kid to child swap and made airplanes out of onezies with him until his family showed up. I then frostily informed them of our child swap policy and told the boy I hoped his day got better. Parents can be such d***s.
