In one design racing one of the things to keep a level playing field is to define a minimum weight. Hobie 16s call for a minimum combined skipper/crew weight of 285 lbs. My current boat, a Hobie 20, is 320. The 16 is very critical if you're not right at minimum weight. The 20 actually works better with more than the minimum.

When my oldest kid crewed for me I had to carry 30 lbs. of extra weight to be legal.

It was pretty funny the first time we raced together. I hadn't raced in a regular regatta for years. The guys I was up against had no idea who I was and I had no idea who they were or how good they were.

I told my daughter we were going to kick ass to pump her up but I expected to get a decent mid pack showing. At the end of the first day we had destroyed the fleet with one third and three firsts. They were pissed! :D:

A couple of my competitors came up the following morning and gave me a bad time about not being legal because we were light. I told them about the thirty pounds and they walked off mumbling. Turned out they thought I was some old guy with his kid who no one had to worry about. They should have talked to the other old guys that I raced against in the past. Dopes.

We got a third and first on the second day and took home the gold.

Back to the original topic, that behavior is definitely not allowed, as anyone who has been through the character training could tell you. A certain female I portray is known to be flirty- but in a shy, hands off kind of way. It sounds like the incident with the OP happened at Universal (I think that's where the X-Men are) so I'm not what sure there rules are when it comes to guest contact, but my guess is that rubbing somebody's back is not considered appropriate.

(Of course, sometimes if they know you, the rules go out the window. One of my favorite pictures I have is with Buzz, who insisted on tickling me. Totally not kosher, but it was a great memory nonetheless).

Yes, the OP said it happened at U.S.

Rubbing someone's back is not appropriate at Universal Studios either. I think the OP said the character was getting into a pose and part of her costume accidentally rubbed against his back, thus the joke he made.
