Um, unless you know something about the parade barn I don't, that's not true at the MK either.

Comes back to what I always say... I can brush off anything a guest does or says to me unless they send me to the hospital. But if they inconvenience other guests by stupidity (and it doesn't take long for one SG to effect the trips of literally thousands of people if they do it in the right place), that's when it is unsufferable to me. I wish Disney Security would do this more often with guests who blatently disregard Cast Members instructions --and more importantly, other guests' enjoyment of their precious time at Disney World-- in their actions.

I know that it is not. I wonder if the cast member was new? I have seen newbies and they are more stupid than the guests. I have seen them and they have the scare deer look on their faces when they get an odd question. My favorite is- does the turkey vendors have a big saw to cut the legs in half. Oh boy! To my knowledge I have seen forks in the main resturants. None that I have seen on a cart like those yet.

Zazu,

When I went to the lobby and made the complaint about house keeping, they said that they would go to the Supervisor of house keeping and go from there. We never got any feed back from them. If I go back in the future, I will be taking a pad lock and locking my suitcase. Also, I will use the safe in the room. :)

Holy cow almost a year later and this thread is brought from the grave. :D

I have to say I didn't experience many SG on my trip last week. It was more Stupid Disney then anything.

I will post my trip report if anyone wants me to.

When the parade goes through Disneyland it comes out at Small World gate, goes down the parade route and exits towards the hat shop on Main Street. The MK has a better parade route and I can see where the SG are saying that the parade route runs through our Frontierland. We would have problems with that. Everyone would be smushed up against something.
The parade route at DCA stretches all over the place too.

But as a frequent park go-er of both WDW and DLR, one thing that has always driven me INSANE with both anger and SG thoughts is on crowded buses. The CM will always say move all the way to the back of the bus while standing, turn to the back of the bus and if you can still see the floor, keep moving, or something like that. This concept in completely lost on some people. COMPLETELY. They won't even realize they are being a SG.

Or when a kid sits in a single seat up front and mom MUST stand by the kid. It's a short ride, from point a to b, he's not going anywhere...
I think it's interesting how an SG family of 3 can take up 4 or 5 seats, when my family of 7 can fit (relatively comfortably) in 3...sometimes 3-and-a-half.

Papamouse, what was your vacation like? Did you people watch and take notes? We did that and we did compair our storyies. What got me was when watching tv and seeing that hyper lady Julie talk about what to do and what to see while staying at WDW. My sister did yell fashion police a few times.

When my friend and I were waiting for a bus to Epcot one day, a bunch of SG were complaining that they could not find the bus to Sea World. I don't remember the All Star resorts having a bus for that park. I thought you would have to go to the transportation center and catch a city bus for that?
Good luck finding that bus at a near bu resort.

These SGs might not have been completely insane. Mears runs buses to Sea World, Universal, and even Busch Gardens with a one-day notice, picking up at the various resorts.

True, the Mears buses load at the porte cochiere, not the Disney Bus Stop, but at least that's a reasonable error....

... except that Mears makes a big deal of where they pick up when you call to book.

Yup, still SGs!
