Re: Oh the things I hear...
My favorite and only PB I eat is Reese's brand. It is not so peanutty as the others. LOL I DO NOT like PB and Jelly. BLECH BLECH BLECH! I either eat it plain on something or on bread (must be white) with a chocolate bar(hershey's prefered) on it too. Walla! Homemade Reese's cup in sandwich form. Dont knock it till you tried it. :D: Throw a banana on there and you have heaven on a slice of bread.
I have a good easy recipe for PB fudge if anyone wants it.

Re: Oh the things I hear...
OK...here ya go. simple as all get out
1 jar of PB (normal size any brand--the cheapy ones seem to work better)
1 can of ready made icing (white vanilla is best)
Put in bowl in micro and melt just enuf to mix together into a smooth thick batter.
Pour into a buttered(opt-but tastes better and comes out easier) 9x9" foil pan (there is a reason for the foil kind)
Let set by chilling till firm (takes maybe a hour )
Cut into squares and serve
Serves about 24 ---1" pieces
***experience notes I use the foil kind so all I have to do after cutting is peel back the pan and pop out the pieces --you know how it is to get out that first piece of cake or pie.
I have used chocolate icing to make a different version. I am sure if you can find some other flavor icing that compliments PB you can use that too. You can eat it within a few minutes but it is easier to handle after stiffening .

BTW it only takes about 3 minutes to prepare...takes me longer to get the foil stuff off the inside of the can of icing :D:DisneyMom wrote:WOW, Thanks for the great recipe!

Along those linesvixen101485 wrote:I either eat it plain on something or on bread (must be white) with a chocolate bar(hershey's prefered) on it too. Walla! Homemade Reese's cup in sandwich form. Dont knock it till you tried it.
2-3 normal scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 large spoonful of PB
1 long squirt hershey's chocolate syrup
a little milk
throw it all in a blender, and you have a liquid Reese's PB Cup ... my friends swear I'm crazy (and I might be!), but it's awesome
