A few hugs and hand shakes later, he asks if we are ready for our tour and we spend the day walking and listening to Walt as he tell us all about Disneyland and the inspiration behind it. We have dinner at club 33 with Walt and finish the night in VIP seats listening to the Firehouse Five plus 2. Walt walks us to the front gates. More hugs, handshakes and thank you's and we board a tram back to the parking structure and head home.

We know the "gangways" lift into the ceiling to facilitate the motion of the cabin. We also know that the initial "plunge" is quite a steep & long drop...about 20 feet. We know how "light speed" is achieved. What we want is to see it all in motion...from the outside.

It is one of our favorite attractions, but is quickly becoming one of those that is becoming increasingly difficult for me to ride. All those sharp turns, drops & such are just getting to be too much for my aching neck & back to handle any more, so we go on the attraction sparingly. However, we do go up to say hi :waves: to those CMs onstage whether we ride or not.

oh zazu, you're talking to the wrong person about the front row...elyse once said (and i quote) "if i can't sit in the back row i'm not goin' on at all"...the back row is where the best ride is and if she can't get the best ride she'd rather not go at all (and i'm guilty of the same thing) ...so we no longer go on indiana jones like we used to either...but it makes it all the more special when we do :D:

DLAlpine made one of my dreams come true the other night!
I got to ride the merry-go-round, essentially, three times in a row!!!
It went for it's normal length the first go round, but then DLAlpine asked if I wanted to stay on...I was stoked. He told me that because it was the last ride of the night, he was gonna let it run a double length time...it was sweet, sweet music to my ears~

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere! Bubbles that I was blowing, bubbles that my girlfriend was blowing & bubbles that DL was blowing.

A truly magical end to a weather perfect day...the park wasn't crowded either! What more can ya ask for? DLAlpine...I LOVE YOU :love: [/font]
