Former cruise director of DCL named his daughter Anne Marie after the main character in "Disney Dreams."
I think there was a thread a while back about funny names (maybe it was another forum, but I think it was this one...) In basic I did some OJT for Sgt. Fears and Sgt. Lions...two of the nicest big scary guys you'll ever meet! Also, there were some navy guys at my tech school who probably should have thought about their names before joining the navy. Their last names were Squirts, Samples, and Guzzler (I swear this is absolutely true) and enlisted sailors are, of course, referred to as "Seamen"...
As far as random acts of weird: back in Yellowstone Nat'l Park, people are always looking for animals, and when someone finds one, it can cause huge traffic jams... My friends and I used to pull over and get out the binoculars and just stand there beside the road pointing off into the distance acting like we'd spotted something cool. We could collect huge crowds effectively causing giant traffic jams (with all the SG's who didn't know how to drive, let alone park safely beside a road) and then we'd slip away leaving the SG's staring intently at nothing...
