at one point this afternoon ...
Everest: 101, weather
Kali: 101, weather
Maharaja: 101, weather
Pangani: 101, weather
Flights of Wonder: 101, weather
Pocohantas: 101, weather
Primieval: 101, weather
Triceratop: 101, weather
Dinosaur: 101, mechanical
Bug: 101, mechanical
ok, everyone pull out your park maps ... that leaves us with
Festival, Safari, Wildlife Express, Conservation Station and a lot of unhappy guests.
Luckily though, Bug, Dinosaur, Triceratop, Primieval, Kali and Everest all went 102 shortly before the start of EMH

Zazu,
I have to say that is the
best explanation I have heard yet!! I just love when guests ask those questions about a zillion different ways and our replies are just a variation of the original answer. It keeps me entertained, anyway. Oh by any chance, was she a blonde?? (No brick throwing from other members of the board, now..) <ducks>
OW! Damn.

I decline to answer on the grounds it may tend to get me smacked by the blonde I'm married to! :D:

And with good reason! (Says this blonde) BTW, Zazu, how do you like your job as a concierge? My hubby started as a lobby concierge a few weeks ago (who knows, you guys might have even taken concierge class together...) and, while he likes to help the guests, he really thinks that you guys get kind of a raw deal in respect to some of the other Room ops positions. (yeah, I know it's off topic... I'm sorry)

So far it's terrific! Four days of work and only 1 hour of guest contact! :D:
Seriously, I'm still at DU in training. I'm not feeling terribly confident yet, but I notice I'm finishing the assignments before anyone else.

Tell him to say "hi" to the CM whose favorite character is Zazu and see if it's me!

at small world I had a guest come up to me when it was raining and was wondering why we didn't shut the ride down in the rain and lightning. His thinking was that if there was lightning, a large
indoor body of water would be a prime target for lightning
Ive also had people flip out because we asked them to keep moving out the exits of attractions because they still are exits and people need to leave the building. I hate when they do that. Or when they complain that their strollers are full of water and that we should have protected them (one guest advised me to use my raingear to cover their camera if it rained. I advised them to take it with them *because their stroller might be parked by mansion or big thunder when they come back  if I had my way* )

I got a nasty cold from getting wet at WDW. One time I saw lots of people under the awning at Mansion and waited in a not moving line. Finally I found out that all the people were hiding from the rain while my butt in the ECV was getting damp.
People at WDW freak out over the drizzles and complain about the weather. Every time there was a little drizzle them people would run to the nearest dry spot. Explain to me why you pay all that money to come to a park to ride Splash Mountain but wont tolerate a drop of rain. Rain is cleaner that the water at Splash aka spit Mountain.

SG: Can you tell me what time it will stop raining?
CM: Five minutes.
SG: *quizzical look* really?
CM: Yes. And if it's still raining in five minutes, then I dont know...*cheesy smile*
