Are you kidding? You should try the DL entrance to Toon Town. It's at least a 6% grade so it can make it under the railroad, and I can hardly go in there without seeing parents letting their kids free-wheel down there. It's a wonder I haven't gotten run down by one yet.Syndrome wrote:I wonder if parents ever play "Runaway Baby" with their stollers over there.

Hello people. First post ever here and boy, it couldn't have happend on a better subject than strollers!!!!!!
Two nights ago, I was working mostly Stitch's Great Escape (should be mistake!!!). Most of the time I was either at FP Distribution, FP Return and Greeter 2 (stroller control). Since I didn't have that much to do at FP distribution/return I figured I would move strollers to stroller parking rather than just stand there with nothing to do. Most of the time, people just calmly asked "If their strollers had been moved and if so where?" Then I got the idiots who have no clue what stroller parking is. "Why did you move my stroller? I wasn't done with it!" or "Why did you move my stroller, it was my personal stroller!!!" It is responses like that after you tell them to check stroller parking (where strollers belong when not in use) that just make me wanna hide their strollers at Speedway, Space Mountan and Carousel of Progress. And the next time someone just pushes their stroller without even bothering to see where it ends up as they walk into the line I'm gonna do it!!!!!!!!!!!

Bring a camera with you and take a picture of the stroller right in the middle of the Cinderella Castle moat. I'd love to see that.

Awesome, more buzz people! I don't know how long you've been working there, but be glad they moved stroller parking from where it used to be, which was around the corner by merchant of venus. People would freak out soo much. However one night a guest threw a fit and refused to put their stoller in stroller parking, and told us it was our job to park it, so we parked it in the buzz lot by tta, while he was watching stitch!Ansem wrote:Hello people. Strollers are the bane of my existance when I work at Buzz Complex. Guests can't see the difference between stroller parking and the Stitch's Fastpass return!! arrrgh!

Re: Stoller People without common sense
When were you in MK... (since we are admitting things)... I actually think that could have been us. I am always pushing my Grandmother and on the hills we ask her if we should let her go and she asks us to. We normally don't do it if there are lots of people around but we could have been the ones. every once in a while we push her like she is in a race car and she always seems to enjoy it... she keeps asking for more. and so far our record of hitting people is ZERO PEOPLE... we never even get close. So It was probably us push... or not so pushing REALLY FAST. Our apologiesSyndrome wrote:I think that pushing anything automatically saps a person's common sense. Hubby and I were walking into Adventureland one day over that wooden ramplike area. Nearby was a family pushing an old lady in a wheelchair. As we passed them, I overheard one of them say, "Wouldn't it be cool to just let her go down the ramp?" Of course, I thought they were kidding... until I saw something whoosh by me several seconds later!
I had seen it coming out of the corner of my eye and stepped out of the way (I've visited the parks enough to have finely honed self-preservation instincts). It was that poor old woman... the Darwin family had actually let her go!!!
One of them came running after her and managed to grab one of the handles. The chair had so much momentum at that point that it turned and was in danger of tipping. Thankfully, my husband had been walking ahead of me and was in a position to grab it. When the rest of the Darwins caught up with us, one of them said, "Thanks! We had a runaway granny on our hands there."
Throughout the whole thing, poor granny never said a word. I don't know if she was incapable or was just used to being tortured by her family. I hope that she was wearing her Depends that day. I wonder if parents ever play "Runaway Baby" with their stollers over there.

Re: Stoller People without common sense
when my mom and i came in october, we got her a wheelchair cuz she had just had surgery on her leg. Let me tell you, it's not easy to hold on to one of those things going down those MK hills.. I almost lost her a number of times! Though if worst came to worst, she would have been able to slow herself with her good leg.
