A joke can mean many things to different people....I laugh, but I do realize that extreme stress CAN mess up your hormones,been there! I didn't kill anyone, but instead it made me very ill........TMI ahead.................

Yes, I do, even though I don't have those any more. Heh Kinda wish some pmssy women could gang up on the person and show him a "Happy Period" for them while he gets terrified. LOL

I didn't. In my family it's the guys who have the radical mood swings, so I never really "got" the whole "women are moody" thing in the first place, and as Amphigorey said, it just plain gets old. Didn't get all wound up about it, either, but unless you're laughing in agreement or shame or something, humor requires something new to be funny, and there's nothing new about saying women are disqualified for leadership because they're overly emotional.

I also didn't understand the milk ads until I read the Blog text. Probably because it's hubby who gets impossible when he doesn't drink enough milk (he gets leg cramps, and, oddly enough, pain makes him grumpy). Humor also isn't funny when it has to be explained, and the whole "women are the dangerously emotional ones who have to be catered to" isn't the reality I live in, I guess.

Fortunately I find people amusing so my life is full of fun despite the fact that most social humor leaves me cold. :bubble: And y'all manage regularly to crack me up, even if the occasional joke does fall flat, so just a "that one didn't work for me" observation. :D:

Shilohmom, has your hubby had his calcium levels in his blood checked lately? If he's getting leg cramps that are alleviated with milk, he might have a problem. But yeah, being in pain makes most people grumpy--unless they're a psychopath or something.
