I second that. Are you at Disneyland now? Or just soon? And we need to get together while you're in the area.

I believe it's either in late July or September. I don't remember. But he did post it.CujoSR wrote:DISNEYLAND TRIP?!!! When did i miss that announcement?!
Do it. The current Main St Ops management is quite good, at least when they are on PAC. I also know that they are short for trained labor as a bunch of friends who had been on the waiting list forever suddenly got trained. I think it has to do with MS Ops picking up Theater.Zazu wrote:Okay already! The above seems to be the consensus opinion, so I guess I'd best go with that. I'll look into things as soon as I get back from my Disneyland trip.
Thanks for the feedback!
I think you need to consider where will you be happiest while you wait to get into guest relations. Remember, I job is just a job unless you are having fun.Zazu wrote: And I got to thinking, maybe I should consider going back. Yes, it's a wee pay cut, but not that many dollars per year. Yes, it's back outside, but I would be back in the Magic Kingdom again. Yes, it may be harder to transfer into Guest Relations from Attractions, but the department offices are both on the second floor of City Hall.
So tell me, am I crazy to be considering this?
Couple of days back. You really do need to read *all* the posts here to keep up!CujoSR wrote:DISNEYLAND TRIP?!!! When did i miss that announcement?!
Hmmm...hard call..MK or Toaster??? Broiling temps or AC?Zazu wrote:As some here will recall, I spent seven years as a Railroad Conductor on the WDW Railroad before transferring to the Big Toaster. Today I heard that folks on the railroad are working mandatory doubles on account of not having enough trained cast.

Umm, I would suggest that you call and make an appointment before you leave to talk to the transfer 'fairy' in Casting now. It took over a month before an appointment was available when I transferred last time.Zazu wrote:Couple of days back. You really do need to read *all* the posts here to keep up!
We'll be there some time in mid-September. Still working out the schedule to visit as many people and places as possible before my work schedule turns me into a pumpkin. I'll start a new thread when I know the date and we can begin the plotting then.
Someone in Florida can correct me, since I've never been there, but from these boards it's the Contemporary Hotel at MK.Mystic wrote:If you love working the trains and there is the opportunity to transfer back to the WDW Railroad then take it. Sometimes working for less money but doing what you love is more important because it means that in the long run, you'll be happier.
We love riding the trains whenever we're at WDW. It's one of the hidden treasures of MK.
Out of curiosity, what's the big toaster?
