I second that. Are you at Disneyland now? Or just soon? And we need to get together while you're in the area.

Yes, you're crazy, but that's no reason not to go do a job you love. :)

I believe it's either in late July or September. I don't remember. But he did post it.

Thanks for the feedback!
Do it. The current Main St Ops management is quite good, at least when they are on PAC. I also know that they are short for trained labor as a bunch of friends who had been on the waiting list forever suddenly got trained. I think it has to do with MS Ops picking up Theater.

So tell me, am I crazy to be considering this?
I think you need to consider where will you be happiest while you wait to get into guest relations. Remember, I job is just a job unless you are having fun.

Couple of days back. You really do need to read *all* the posts here to keep up!

We'll be there some time in mid-September. Still working out the schedule to visit as many people and places as possible before my work schedule turns me into a pumpkin. I'll start a new thread when I know the date and we can begin the plotting then.

Oh man, that's one I'd LOVE to go on considering I've never been lucky enough to get to Disneyland. Rotten College is in the way though I may be able to pull a rabbit out of my hat if I've got enough extra saved up! ;)

As for the railroad, I heard about this a week ago from a friend who currently works there. Since she works to jobs it wasn't very flattering what she was saying about it either but hey, it's money at least!

Hmmm...hard call..MK or Toaster??? Broiling temps or AC?

Well MK ROCKS....Heat SUCKS....but there is a new AM for Main Street since you left.

Only caveat....you gotta get GOOD sunscreen. I am using SPF 100 so I do not burst into flames these days.

I think that being at MK and being able to network far outweighs any stigma you think that you would have coming from attractions.

Oh and I KNOW that there is a stigma of Guest Relations people that think that Concierge do not know a damned thing. Idiots.

I know Guest Relations is hurting for cast too. BUT the LCC does require that your AM endorse you for consideration. Also, they do not tell you but if you do not go to the Spotlight then your application magically disappears out of the pile on first round.

If the toaster with the BLT on the side is just wearing thin...I think that popping back over is not a bad idea at all.

Actually, I am hard pressed to find any bad in the move save our lovely heat wave right now.

Good luck!

Umm, I would suggest that you call and make an appointment before you leave to talk to the transfer 'fairy' in Casting now. It took over a month before an appointment was available when I transferred last time.

You can schedule appointment. If appointment is before trip, you can have them start you on trains immediately following your trip's conclusion.

We love riding the trains whenever we're at WDW. It's one of the hidden treasures of MK.

Out of curiosity, what's the big toaster?
Someone in Florida can correct me, since I've never been there, but from these boards it's the Contemporary Hotel at MK.
