Honestly though, it was in the upper 20s when I left work tonight and it didn't feel that bad. Im born and bred Floridian, so for me to say that....

Not hardly. Bad as it is to sit by a hot boiler in the summer or stand in a freezing wind in winter, having to work in between the two is worse than either.

Does WDW have adequate extreme cold weather costumes for everyone, or are people having to do laundry more than normal?
I also wonder what temperature it would take before they start closing things down.

There are never enough heavy coats.

And it's been cold enough to shut down the water parks and swimming pools this past few days. I hear Splash Mountain is closed, too.

Splash is closed for refurbishment until February 27 according to my Tell-A-Cast. Perfect time to do the work.

And yet there have probably been some SG's complaining that the water parks aren't open. Of course if they were open there would be idiots who would go and then demand their money back because the water was too cold.

Funny, I was just about to ask about that! Would probably be a great time to get on the Crush 'n' Gusher, or to buy a sand pail of ice cream. (Do they still sell those? My brother and his wife got one about five years ago. It was only like $0.50 more than two individual ice creams.) And of course, there's the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club.

I was in the World in December of 2008, and I remember one night that it got down to about 38. Nevertheless, on my walk back at Saratoga, there were three folks in the pool hamming it up with the security guard, who was like, "Are you sure you want to be out in this?" Judging by the "long O's" I was hearing, I guessed that the guests were from Minnesota or Canada, and thus could stand it :p:

Yep, friday could be interesting.
I'm really screwed though as I am driving to Atlanta tomorrow.

It snowed one night about 3 years ago, just after I moved here and that was not the snow on Main St.. That was one night too many!
