Had a glass of nice cabernet at the Yachtsman, at an OK price. The by-the-bottle price was crazy, though, and I could get it for about $20 in the store.

That sounds about right for good wine at Disney.
My dad has a favorite at the Brown Derby. Last year I bought my parents dinner there for Christmas. The wine was a recommended pairing for the New York Strip. I think the glass was $17

I'm pretty sure he found it around here for about $30 for the bottle.
Gawrsh, yah-huh!

Ah, obviously none of you were raised strict Southern Baptist.
My immediate reaction was that she was there with some anti-drinking family members and was afraid they'd see the wine when she and they got back to the room. The $20 tip would be a small price to pay to avoid the w(h)ine she'd have to endure if those family members saw her innocuous bottle.

No, Irish, Spanish Catholic here. :) Was watching G A C last night & the artists refered to their Southern churches as "yelling churches." Thought this quite interesting.

Looking at these prices, I am very glad my drink of choice is a Roy Rogers. :)

My parents like 1 Buck Chuck, you can buy it at Trader Joes. The stuff is not to bad. My dad's friend has a favorite wine shop. The Wine House near Redondo Beach.
