It's a square swatch the same material and color as the bikini, about the size of a large handkerchief, sewn to the bikini top so that it hangs down over the stomach like a curtain.
I saw that once... and the fact that it might have just been to hide a little pot belly never even occurred to me. I saw it on a woman on Cape Cod I THOUGHT was pregers, and assumed it was to protect the baby bump from the sun. Now I'm considering that she might not have been with child and I made a very rude assumption.

When I was working at Knott's, I heard there was a lady who came in through the Western entrance wearing a skimpy bikini. She'd been sunbathing at her nearby hotel, and thought it was no big deal to go to Knott's clad like that. Our Western Gate staff told her sorry, she had to be fully dressed to come in. Yes, even for the water rides. She left, but I don't know if she returned in proper attire.

But I have yet to see anyone wandering around wearing a swim suit from Wicked Weasel.

Tinker Bell wrote:Ohhhh, so you DO have to wear a shirt? I was told by a manager (which btw is no longer in the company) that because we have water parks they could walk with no shirt on. Can one of you give me the official standing on this? I always thought it was contradictory that we require shirts and shoes and then we turned around and let them walk on the top of the bathing suit.
From the MK Guidemap (I presume it says the same thing in all of them) in the "Courtesy" section of Special Considerations:
Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times.
And Mayonnaise, I had never considered that it might have been some sort of "pregnancy bikini"... After you mentioned the Cape, I had a fleeting memory that it was on Ogunquit Beach in Maine that I saw it...

And have you seen the newest in swimwear? It is a bikini with a strip of material down the front connecting the two pieces. I have yet to understand the purpose of that strip. Do those ladies actually think that little strip is going to cover up the fat and stretch marks? I do wear a tankini but my top stays in place over the top of the bottoms. I used to be able to pull off a bikini but after laproscopic gallbladder surgery I no longer have a cute belly button.

While it whould never been worn in any sort of restaurant, in many public swimming pools here, swim shorts are strictly forbidden, so Speedos are a must :)
