Some (most) people don't realize that a lawn mower has 2 tanks under the carb. One to hold gas, the other to supply the carb.(gas tank in a tank).
If you run the tank dry,fill said tank,then tip mower up for 3 secs to prime inner tank.

You'll go through at least a six-pack while doing this though.
