Well if it was a guy he had the skinniest arms and legs I've ever seen in my life LOL.

I don't care who is hitting on him, male or female my response is the same LOL. He's Mine! Mine! Mine!

It seems to me that when I was little, the ride had different sections where the dolls sang in their native language.

Now, after the most recent refurb when we finally rode the ride on our last trip, all I heard was a lot of "la la la, la la la's!" in between the choruses

Did they really dumb-down Small World or was it my imagination that they used to sing in say, French, Spanish, etc???? cause I could have sworn. . .
Well, at Disneyland they still sing in multiple languages. One of our CMs who has been there forever insists that it used to be more, but they do still sing in multiple languages, or at least they would if it was open.

And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me

I never sing the pirates song unless I want the red head jokes and he starts making comments about my superstructure

Ah-ha! So I'm not crazy (well not entirely!)

I'm going to make special note of it when we go in April to see- but we both just sat there going "la la la, la la la, la la la, la la la, It's a small world after all!!!" after we got out of the boat last time and saying we couldn't believe that they'd dumbed down small word.

Now, if you're talking Carousel, I will always prefer...

"Now is the time,
Now is the best time,
Now is the best time of your life. . .
Life is a prize, live every minute,
Open your eyes and watch how you win it
Yesterday's memories may sparkle and gleam
tomorrow is still but a dream
right here and now
you've got it made
the world's forward marching and you're in the parade!
Now is the time, now is the best time
be it a time of joy or strife,
there's so much to cheer for, be glad you're here,
for it's the best time of your life!!!"

(and those were the best times, those childhood trips. . . New ones are even better though :)

That kinda reminds me of when I was a crazed competitive Hobie sailor. Just about every skipper was always on the lookout for crew. I'd go to parties with other skippers and we'd evaluate the women by their crew potential. It was usually based on weight (The rules we sailed under stated a minimum skipper/crew weight), and if they might have talon toes for hiking out.

I met my wife at a Hobie Christmas party. She had never sailed before. She came with a friend who told her, "There's only two things these guys are interested in; what's your name, how much do you weigh."

I got introduced to her, chatted her up about needing a crew for the kick-off regatta in Mexico and, when she showed some interest, asked her how much she weighed (we're sooooo predictable). She told me and I asked her if she could gain ten pounds in a month and a half.

As it turned out she was more interested in hanging out with the other wives on the beach drinking wine. I had to raise some crew to race.

Oh well.
