Disney gets their turkey legs from the Nebreska Meat Company. They are in Newerk, New Jersey. There are 4 legs to a package. For packages to a box.

Disneyland/DCA both have kitchen crews that unwrap the legs and stick them in a oven that defrosts the legs and re-warms them up until hot and messy. Once temps are taken (160 or higher) the extra juices are drained and the legs are wrapped for Frontierland as for others, left in the tray and transported to the remaining carts.

All I heard that being in the kitchen all day and smelling the legs makes a cm not want to eat any of the legs.

Okay, all this talk of turkey legs makes me have to trot out my all time favorite theme park turkey leg story. Nice but very drunk young couple in front of us at Halloween Horror Nights a couple years ago suddenly gets craving for turkey leg. Dude runs to a cart to get one despite Mr. Syndrome and I warning them that they won't have time to eat it before line runs out and we get into haunted house. Dude returns and they quickly discover we were right so girlfriend promptly shoves the hot, greasy turkey leg down the front of her white pants. After dancing around in pain a bit, she eventually removes it and it goes into cargo pants compartment. That was my defining moment for Halloween Horror Nights 2008.

I agree it was a mad house. Today was much calmer. We did not have to deal with the chimi's this afternoon. Hopefully we will see the food item later.
