taxi was a good one, I remember reverend Jim bit more that they other.
When he showd up as a klingon in one of the star trek movies, I couldn't help but laugh every time he talked, I was expecting a "reverend jim" comment!!

We've been in our home for seven years now, and we still get calls for a hair salon that used to have our number. I keep telling my wife she ought to just make an appointment for the people.
I had a phone number once that had previously belonged to a drug dealer. [sigh] I changed it within weeks.

Now, that could be fun, if you could stay safe... Let's see... (1) Auto-forward calls to the police station... (2) Arrange a buy and notify the authorities of the location... (3) Ask if they have a coupon or a frequent shopper card... (4) Insist that you have to notify the buyer's mother before delivering any product... (5) Say, "You're caller number 9, we were looking for number 10, sorry," and hang up... :D:DevilDuckie wrote:I had a phone number once that had previously belonged to a drug dealer. With some of those, you're likely to get the previous owner of the number killed.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Best places I ever saw the DL fireworks from were:felinefan wrote:Has anyone ever been tempted to tell them the exact opposite--like actually the worst place to see the fireworks, etc.? This is, of course, assuming you never see/hear from that person again.... :D:
1. Top of the Mark Twain Steamboat right after the Fantasmic! show. Of course you have to be a CM IN the show, which kinda lets most people out, and be able to get out of costume and up on to the top of the Mark Twain and out onto the roof.
2. On the Storybook Land Canal boats. But you have to time this just right. When the fireworks are on, they stop the boats because you can't hear the spiel anyway, and you have the magical land of the tiny all around you, and fireworks overhead, and the reflection of the fireworks in the water below. A totally magical, entrancing experience.

My favorite place? Definitely the Roundhouse. Supposed to be a Cast only area. But it's great. When the fireworks go off, you hear them twice: Once when the sound hits you, and again when it bounces off the wall behind you.

Just after 9/11 I got to see fireworks from the back of the Mark Twain, that is so special. The swim stadium during olympics was fun to watch fireworks from.
