I guess this fits here- I work at the Kids Club at Saratoga. We had all of two kids just a litle bit ago and two more were coming in the door. I was glad it was getting slow. So I welcome the mom and the two kids. Before I could ask the questions to check them in, the mom sticks out her dining card and says to me- "Neither of them has had breakfast nor lunch. If I give you my dining card can you send someone to get them a counter service meal?" Mind you, this was ONE O'CLOCK in the afternoon. And the kids hadnt eaten anything??? I politely told her no, that we could not do that. But that if she wanted to postpone her tour, she could go up to Artist's Pallette and get them food. She declined. I told her I would give them juice and cookies (the only thing we have). The little boy took cookies. The girl did not. We all just shook our heads at that mom. And she acted like it was our fault that they had not eaten. Grrr

When I was on vacation, my sister and my friend was in line for Toy Story mania. This couple in front of us has a out of control daughter. The parents would not pay attention to this brat. She climbed all over the metal fences, played with the props, etc. This kid was asking for trouble if a cast member would arrive. I wanted a taiser to get the parents with. Parents like this showld not be able to multiply.

Over at the Disneyland Hotel, I was reading that they have a kids program/babysitter program. I believe it is $13 an hour and if the kids want extra meals, I also read it is $30 per kid. But, I have seen parents try to ditch the kid at the park and have the cast members babysit for free.

Fromk what i've read here the stories i've read and heard at other places, i'd say the parents. Children (unless are REALLY brats) usually get the way they do because they've got lots of stored energy from waiting in a line for 45+ minutes, over stimulated, or just plain tired. (All of which is vwery easy to do at Disney World and also sometimes the fault of the parents) but it's parents who REALLY get irritating and just lay out the reasons why adults arn't allowed in Neverland XD

I haven't really experienced any sgs, but from what I've heard...parents. Maybe I say because I'm a kid myself (well, 13). But my uncle and aunt work at WDW so I've heard the horrors of being a CM. And I don't want to be one of the annoying, stupid teenagers in their stories...!! :shaker:

My old HS Drama teacher came to meet me at my last trip and remember telling him that I wish there was a Child free day at the parks - not because of the children, but because of their idiot parents.

If the parents didn't have their kids with them, I like to think that they would not act QUITE as stupid as they can when they are trying to give little Jack and Sally the best day of their lives.

Or, in some cases, making pathetic attempts to control them...
