What the Heck?
Of Course Ernie is Security Cast Member of the Year...We all knew he'd be, but he could still face termination? Is this some weird psychological game that management at DLR is playing? Don't understand games myself, just know higher-ups are
masters
Hoping they are going to do the right thing and get off his case for only doing something that the guests enjoy and appreciate.

Maybe that is what the meeting is about :)

Ernie's position is now safe, yet insubordination "might" be on the table. We shall see what magic comes from 1500 "Summit." I will post later... unless you'd like to take over turkeyham?

Ernie could get Security Cast Member of the Year yet still face termination or insubordination. What a situation to be in!
I would love to see how the Disneyland Line would write this story up. Or any other official Disney newsletter or blog.

Generally, they wouldn't. The Company doesn't normally issue any type of comment on these sorts of issues. And as we seem to be consistantly reminded, Company Honours and Awards do not constitute a promise of continued employment or a waiver of our "At-Will" employment status  .

I doubt that the Company would go all the way towards termination, particularly since I'm sure Ernie and the Security Union would fight it all the way to arbitration.

Sadly, there are "other" ways to acheive the same result that couldn't be challenged :( .

Hopefully, it all works out. Some sort of happy compromise has got to be possible.

Geeze, all they are doing is HOLDING the flag, not running away with it!
