I LOVE rats. I got a pet rat when I was in 6th grade. He lived 4 yrs. You know, rats are only supposed to live 2 and a half or 3 yrs.

Hey, I've gotten some bad cuts with plastic knives...also the "child-safe" pumpkin cutter I used for this years competition at work- had to have a tetanus shot for that one....

And were you a child at the time you were using it??? It said nothing about being adult-safe... :D:

NO, cause the bestest ice cream in the whole wide world is Banana Split from Ben and Jerry's. It is new and soooooooo good. It has Banana and Strawberry ice cream with thick hot fudge syrup swirled through it, and pieces of real strawberry and nuts and fudge chunks, OMG, it is heaven in a pint. :liplick: And believe me I can eat a whole pint of it. It is my breakfast! To be fair, I get up at 5:30AM and have my slimfast and vitamins, then about 10 or 11AM I get out the Ben and Jerrys and sit here in front of the computer. I am eating some right NOW! I also like their Steven Colbert's Americone Dream. It is so good.... Love Ben and Jerrys. My favorite Baskin and Robbins ice cream was always Baseball Nut. I don't know if they even make that anymore.

When I was visiting a friend in Maine we drove and ate our way across three states - Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, stopping at every candy company, maple syrup cannery, cheese factory, etc. My favorite was the Ben & Jerry's plant. It was fun watching them throw pints of ice cream across the room from the observation platform. They have a lot of fun things for the employees, like dressing in a certain theme on certain days. We got to sample whatever the flavor of the day was (blueberry, I think) and learned all about their community recycling program. They give all their unused ice cream to local pig farmers to feed the pigs, and all their plastic buckets are ground up and used for parts by the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory. Ben & Jerry are my recycling heroes, and they have wonderful ice cream, too!
