Think he'll sleep for @ least 38 hrs. Has been going on raw emotions. But...if a lawyer is needed BRW is a must! After 2 RTs to east we need pro bono. ;) Let's see what SGTs can do abt donating to your cause. Wishes Kman. Wishes. :)
Well, I am planning a trip to the Disney Family Museum while I'm there. I wish they would allow photos, but at the same time it will allow me the time to study everything there. I hope there are no flight delays so I can get the earliest entry time! I also hope that SF public transportation works well, not going to rent a car this trip, $50+ a day for parking!

First off... lets start with policies... MAPO even though you are correct to the letter of the policy.. their is stipulations in that policy about accepting gifts and it has to do with dollar/sentimental value. For the sake of my job i will not post it verbatum but from what i have been instructed by managment is that any gift that is of a non dollar amount value can be accepted as long as it is disclosed to the managers at the time of acceptance. This policy allows the non topped staff like house keepers to accept tips in the locations they work. also this policy allows CM's to accept thank you cards and/or recognition cards from guests. I remember when i worked at KSR we where told of this lady that comes to the park multiple times a year that hands out tootsie rolls to the cm's and that we where under strict rules to accept the gift. We didnot have to keep it.. but it was mandated that we accept the gift from here. MAPO... you of all people should know that their is a loophole to everyone of the Co's policies....
Zazu wrote:Yup, same policy at WDW. Only unmarked, clear plastic bottles are permitted on stage…. So yeah, those of us in attractions use the plain plastic bottles the Company issues and refills them from cold drinking fountains... if we're smart.
The policy is that it is a clear plastic bottle with clear liquid. I only use bottle that have a screw cap on them in my sleeve for sanitary reasons. I have had this fight with the "blue bloods" often and I win 99% of the time on the first try. Now if a CM uses a twist on bottle, they should make every efort to make it one that does not indictae a certin product... Like Pepsi or what ever.
Zazu wrote:Officially, no. They're not part of the costume, and they could tend to distract from the parade, and "The Show's The Thing" as it were.
Main Street has changed alot in your absence... Namely Wally is no longer ruling MS OPs... MS OPs is a little more liberal when it comes to the front line cast "expressing" non costume items when in the PAC world.. I have not done been up on the street in a while.. but... I have seen CM's doning glow stick/braclets that guests have given them... is it right or in policy... no.. but sometimes you have to bend the rule to make the magic happen.

I have on a few occasions bent the rules to make magical things happen for people... Ask anyone who truely knows me... they will atest to it...

Suddenly, I got this picture of a CM sitting in front of an upset manager, and in a slurred voice saying, "Hey! Vodka *hic* is a clear liquid, so...."

Yes, I know that no CM would really do that, but still.... :cat1:

My SG brother actually managed to pass off vodka as water to bring it with him into the MK, after his flip-flop-flask sprung a leak, making that route a no-go. *Headdesk.* He then texted me to brag about it.

Needless to say we don't get along very well.

MEH,

in the navy we would just get a needle and syringe from the corpsman and inject oranges with vodka.

nothing like a nice piece of fruit while walking around.

Some guys in my high school did that with a watermelon for the senior picnic. Only problem was, two of them were carry this huge watermelon over their heads while getting on the bus and... (you can see this coming, can't you?) they dropped it! They got lucky that the teachers in charge thought that it was enough punishment that the watermelon was destroyed and things were left at that.
