Oh Wombat, it was so bittersweet to read the end of your trip report. It was indeed full of details and allowed us to enjoy each day with you and your family. I'm so glad to hear you've already got your DL trip planned for July 2009. You will indeed have a blast!
Now you need to invest in a new camera so you can take lots of great pictures to share with us on your next trip.
Thanks again for sharing your memories - you write a great TR.

Thanks! And - heh - I've already replaced my camera, yet another change that's happened in the 4 months since the trip. Funny, but the camera I was using was a total cheapo, off-brand, and functioned like you'd expect -- slow shutter speed, battery hog, limited features and poor controls. But I got a
deal on my new camera. It's still a low-end, but it's a name brand, a Nikon CoolPix L11, and I was able to get it for 2/3 the price of the previous cheapo brand. And the L11 is loaded with features and takes much better pictures! So the next trip should be awesome.

Best trip report I've read so far :)
Hey, I have a rather nice camera, if you ever need an official photographer, I'll do it for the price of the trip (I'll even buy my own meals!)
