It didnt seem like that big of a deal to squeeze past the garbages but i guess i will keep you guys happy. While i am turning a new, i just want to add another story of jumping the garbages. (you guys might get very angry at this one, but in my opinion it was just skill) I was in adventureland heading into new orleans and i saw some grabages where the fastpass queue used to be for pirates, and they closed that part of the line. So me and my friend jump the garbages and just merge into the pirates line. (hee hee hee :twisted :) the only problem i had was that their was a mexican family behind us so they just went in front of us and gave us a bad look. But they were cool with it as long as we werent in front of them. (dont get to mad because remember i am starting a new and going through the line the right way from now on.)

God I hate guests who think they're one step above the rest by going into the unused part of queues. I always see this at heimlich's chew chew train. Its really pathetic that attractions has to physically block the wrong pathways with trash cans (which are heavy and expensive) so the guests will be more likely to follow the right path, dumb guests. They definately wouldn't take a closed chain alone as a sign. Speaking of trash cans, you attractions guys always move them around and pull the ones from the area into your lines. There is a difference. Then when millionare closed all those trash cans found their way into the deserted "backlot", with bags inside them (meaning attractions moved them, not our managers), where there were already wayyyy too many trash cans, more than the heavy crowd hollywood blvd. No one does it worse than night custodial though, i have opened and practically found our trash cans upside down cause of them.

I saw something similar happen with the Dumbo queue line not to far back. It was your typical really slow off season weekday, and I was walking past the Dumbo queue and I saw a family open the chain leading to an unused part of the queue, they closed the chain behind them, and then got lost trying to figure out their way through the endless loop that they had entered. It was hilarious, they were even passed by another group that actually decided to follow the correct path.
Hehehe  I love the endless maze known as the Dumbo queue. Its difficult enough for someone who knows what they're doing to set up let alone a guest to figure out.

But in my defense, everybody else does it, and I see no reason to walk to the far side of the mountain just to wait behind all the extra people who didn't walk around. I do put the chain back ... so I feel justified.

This situation is a bit different. It doesn't make much sense to walk the extra 1/4mile(yes I know I'm exaggerating) so as long as you don't completely drop the chain and occasionally let those who took the time to go all the way to the enterance past you then its okay.

I also attend CSULB, aka "The Beach". Most stuff CMs say is for the guest own good and safety. If we let it slide, then we have to let everyone do it and the guests go, "Why did you let them do that?" and stuff. Then, it gets all messy!!
