I would not want to be the unlucky person under it when and earthquake hits.

I'd like to see the engineering drawings and specs for the supports. There must be a lot of steel in the structure to support that load.

I wonder if they would let me drive my Jeep over it...

That's what I'm seeing, too. Maybe it's like "hang time" with ballet; looks cool in person but just isn't the same on film?

I'll lay odds most in L A & O C have long ago forgotten the rock. Maybe was a "big deal" for 2 days, but little press & no talk of it now. We in SoCal don't dwell ;)
