Okay, when counting passengers in a Doombuggy, does that include any hitchhiking ghosts? :cat1:

Pfft... Getting all high and mighty and better than thou... Why should you be so different from the rest of us? :D:PatchOBlack wrote:Sorry, I'll try to be good now...
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
Re: Another Discussion From Board x How many can fit in a Doom Buggy
Ya know, I've seen teenagers do some stupid shit.
I saw 4 of them squash into a Doombuggy once, it was rather comical to watch them threw out the ride attempting to either not fall out or not look utterly stupid. I'm not entirely sure which. Then again, this was during the comical "Teenagers knocking on Cars" and "Climbing out of cars" period many years back.
Frankly Myself and My Husband fit fine in one, I can't imagine trying to squeeze anything but a very small toddler between us at best (Say around a healthy four year old side dish variety).
I guess people just want to fall out or are they just pretending it's a clown car?
There we go, a new sign for the HM!

Well, this actually isn't new behavior, and not just from teenagers. Back in the 50's, and maybe before then, there was a fad of seeing just how many people you could stuff into a small space: Phone booths, VW Bugs, and the like. Good, clean, wholesome fun!Darksin wrote:Ya know, I've seen teenagers do some stupid shit.

Of course, some folks are clueless about the whole "it's not so much fun when it becomes unsafe" thing. I remember a few years back, at a local water park, a group of high school students decided to ignore the young life guard on duty and went down a water slide en masse. The result: The slide collapsed, sending the occupants to the ground far below.
Then some of the parents had the gall to try suing both the water park AND the life guard....

I remember that. Talk about a nightmare for the park...PatchOBlack wrote: Of course, some folks are clueless about the whole "it's not so much fun when it becomes unsafe" thing. I've always found it weird that Load 1 at the start of the walkway doesn't group parties into the Doom Buggies. To me that just seems like more occasions for handpacks at Load 2 and tightly packed cars.

I remember one time in the mid-70's when a group of people from Metropolitan Washington Mensa decided to have a "dirty bookstore crawl". We were able to get seven people into a booth designed for one to watch movies; with one person able to feed quarters into the machine.PatchOBlack wrote:Well, this actually isn't new behavior, and not just from teenagers. If Disney could somehow encourage guests to do this on the slightly more dangerous rides and DIScourage them from suing.....it would just be natural selection!
Going around World Showcase is like traveling in time and relative dimensions in space!

I would second this motion at nearly any park if it could be accomplished!seeing_eye_child wrote:If Disney could somehow encourage guests to do this on the slightly more dangerous rides and DIScourage them from suing.....it would just be natural selection!
"Sure, you go right ahead.. stuff your four kids into that coaster car built for 2! It looks like great fun!"
Oh! Oh! Better!
A betting game, we can designate "point zones". Like if they land in "Zone 1: From the sidewalk to the Soda Stand" you get ten points. If they hit "Zone 2: From the queue line to the funnel cake stand you get 20 points". You can bet your friends on which "Zone" gets the most points.. or just how many will fly out of any given train!
