I do know a lot of older pilots dislike the Airbuses for various reasons, the main one I can remember is they don't handle like a traditional airplane and have a completely different feel.

The major complaint I heard from a pilot about Airbus planes was, "When I want to make a ninety degree banking turn I don't want to be limited to sixty degrees by a computer."

BW, if CA Screamin states facts or gives his opinion, we can most always take it to the bank. I learned this while working with him & from his position now.

I was able to verify most of what I was seeing from that video. I think he was at least mostly accurate on this one. :D:

I have been on a flight, into Orlando, in fact, where that ability saved my life. On final, when above the airfield, we switched runways for something. I don't know how steep a turn it was, but it was definitely more than 60 degrees because from the left side of the plane, looking out the right window, I was looking at the centerline of the displaced threshold for the runway we had been on final for.

We set down, and many people were making rude comments to the pilot about the rough landing. I don't think they had any clue as to how close we came to making the news, or how skilled that lady in command of that plane that day was.
