I was part of the (quite large) company-sponsored WDW/DCL Cast Delegation that went to the Port. The ship itself is absolutely gorgeous, even more so than the pictures suggest. I'm booked on it for September, but I may have to see if Cast Rates become available sooner....

I couldn't imagine be stuck on a ship with 4000 other people for 3-7 days. There'd be no place to hide/getaway.

You know, from what I've heard of other cruises, I have often thought that such a trip wouldn't really appeal to me. However, from what little I've read about the Dream, it might just tempt me. I am kind of curious as to what recreational facilities (aside from dancing, spas, pools, and shows) are available for an adult "geek" like myself? Then again, for all I know, I might have fun just staying in my room watching the on-ship "television"...

I think the point of a cruise is not to do anything, just relax. I would have the same problem though, I need to get out and do stuff. I can sit around my house and watch TV!

You might be surprised -- there's plenty of quiet places. I'm not generally a "crowd" person at all, and I've loved my Disney cruises.
