Yes, I was at the D23 Expo when John Lasseter talked about it. :)

They are really trying to make a Pooh film with a classic feel.

Don't care for Justin Bieber, but I do respect him. His fame is because of good, old-fashioned hard work. Along with school, he spends hours every day working on his craft, resulting in an overall 14+ hour workday.

I haven't heard any of his music, can't stand watching as CNN anchors report on him getting a haircut (after which he looks exactly the same as the day before) and the fuss that is made, but I do respect him. If more 14-year-olds would have his work ethic, I might have hope for the generations following mine.

Crucify me if you must for defending the kid. Again, I have heard none of his music, and I have no intention of hearing it. I can only imagine and that's bad enough.

The kid must be doing something right as his payoff is $300,000 net per show.

I won't crucify you, instead I will lock you in a room that is blasting his music...

If the music is too bad, I'll just self hypnotize into the Coma State. Now THAT'S a good time, no matter what is going on around you.

Yeah, I don't care for his music, Katy Perry, or Lady Gaga. But they are making loads of money so, somebody is buying it..

Then I think back about how my mom couldn't stand me listening to KISS, The Ramones, or The Sex Pistols.. Different music to be sure, but the principle is the same..

Here's my view.

Saw Tangled with my brother, his wife, and my 4 year old niece. I liked it. My brother liked it. His wife liked it. My niece said it was her "favorite", which means she liked it, as she doesn't realize that one can only have one "favorite". Given the fact that she watched the whole thing and didn't make any sort of fuss that I could tell, that means it was really good.

As to Justin Bieber, I will not argue whether or not the young man has talent. Obviously, he has a number of loyal fans. I will not argue that he hasn't put in time to get to where he is. I must admit, however, I have heard that some of his "off-stage" behavior is, well, "lacking". Not as bad as some other young stars, but still not good.
