yes, but 'our' pointless rambling thread lacks the sense of moral superiority, righteous indignation, and delusion that 'our' collective opinion has a direct impact on operations and procedures.ktulu wrote:Big deal. We have a thread that go hundreds of pages about nothing.

I think we need to give you a Jager IV.. ill call my friends at RCFD to hook you up... as far as the bag check... well... my 6 years in security away from Disney makes me giggle a little when we do "bag checks" at west clock.. or any cast entrance.....mapo wrote: sometimes I know why I am not allowed to have alcohol while at work. Or why Security checks for weapons at Westclock.

I understand that post 9/11 people simply expect there to be more security, but frankly I don't think the front gate bag checks would really be that effective against anyone who really wanted to sneak in some sort of weapon or explosive. Sure, it would prevent someone with a backpack full of explosives and shrapnel, but there are a lot smaller items that could easily be brought in. I particularly have to laugh when I get asked to open the tiny pocket on the front of my camera bag or waist pack, while my cargo short pockets (which are never inspected) are stuffed with about 10 times the volume.Doctor McKey wrote:... as far as the bag check... well... my 6 years in security away from Disney makes me giggle a little when we do "bag checks" at west clock.. or any cast entrance.....
