Anybody else remember "State Fair"?

You know I did! A ferris wheel in the middle of the Hub was like a 50-foot zit on a pretty girl's nose.

Basically, when entering the hub from Frontierland, people think that Mr. Disney's statue looks anatomically correct..Thanks to Mickey's snout...

I however hate when people make that comment. To me it doesn't look like that at all, for one thing, Mickey's snout is not high enough for it to make sense. And its way too dirty for my taste, and certainly not very respectful.

And its true. The partners statue was definitely NOT in Disneyland or WDW on their opening days. They came MUCH later.

As I recall, Walt was against the idea of having a statue of himself, and the Disney family is very protective of the use of his image, which is why the partners statue took so long to be a reality.

You are missing nothing worth while, except stupidity. I totally agree with you Disneyguy. :)

I can't think of Dana Andrews without singing "Science Fiction - Double Feature" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show..

Of all the Disney sites out there I have not been able to find a good repository of old photos of the parks. I would love to see old vacation photos of things like what was in the hub.
