And is it true that in surgery, when a doctor makes a decision, they ask for the sponge or something? Something that came up the other day in my hypnosis training...

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Last night my wife brought home a 12 pack of Shiner Bock and a 12 pack of Blue Moon. Hope I can finish it all before Tuesday! Oh, they are going to implode the old Texas Stadium on Sunday. Let's see beer, birthday party, implosion, WDW. Sounds like the next few days will be fun!

Don't know if that is true about the decision thing, never worked in Surgery, but have heard stories about some of the SGTs that Doctors sometimes pull in there....Sponge count is very important, as you don't want to accidentally leave any behind in the patient. So a Doctor where I used to work 20 years ago was finished with the surgery, but getting more enraged as he couldn't close up the patient until all the sponges were accounted for. He was cursing a blue streak, and the staff was asking him to move over a bit just in case the sponge had fallen on the floor. This caused more cursing and derogatory comments from this infamous doc. Finally, he moved over, and you guessed it, the sponge was found
Unsure if your clients should know everything said while they are under anesthesia..... ;)

I will treat you to a Dole Whip myself when I'm there in November (holding that my ex-company pays the salary they owe me). I agree with BW - we need to get you to Adventureland STAT (or the Poly - I've heard they have them there, too).
