I don't think I'd have a problem with a CM giving me a poke to get my attention, but I'm sure there are too many freaks out there who have to have their 'bubble' for the occasional necessary touch to work.
Come on people, you want a personal bubble, yet you go to Disneyland?

To survive at "The crowdiest place on earth", you gotta be reverse-claustrophobic, like me! Either that, or become a human hamster in a ball. :P
Tragedy is when I cut my finger.
Comedy is when you fall into an open manhole and die.

I would pay to see somebody do that, espically on July 4, at WDW when it's 95 degrees, and high humidity. I would be the house on that bet on how long before he passes out.

i was talking to a guy that used to work characters, and they get to travel all the secret tunnels, that we never see, but there are guns on the property, for use in extreme emergenices. Also i took a first responder course, which was taugh by and area EMT who needed to be familiar with disney protocall, and he informed me that security actually trians with secret service, however juding by the age and level of fitness of some of the officers, i wonder if it's only certain crews or teams that do it, because some of those guys look like something to be reckoned with others seem like atmosphere characters, that you wouldn't want to anger.

My boyfriend is Disneyland Security, and NO they DO NOT train with the Secret Service! Most of uniformed security is retired cops and firefighters. They are good for visual deterrant (If you don't stop yelling, I am going to call Security) and calling APD.

yeah, that's what they want you to belive... actually it's kinda lame what the can and can't do, they really ought to be able to do more, for extreme situations, and such.

GMC... Two Words... "Crack Kills."
"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."
