When you have to ask if enough time has passed...that's a big red flag that it hasn't.

I think this needs to end here. You've got your answer Honda.

flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Brothers and Sisters...

I first want to thank you all for your well wishes to all of us in the Rails. You have gone above and beyond what any normal social internet group would do.

With this being said, I must make referance to a thread that was started by Honda Enoch that inquired about the future of the two trains.

Honda Enoch, with respect to us, asked forgivness if it was to early for us to answer his question. In response to that, several of you pounced on him like a cat does to a mouse. I thank you for your protection, but the healing can not continue untill we ( as in those directly effected by this ) come to terms with what happened and look to the future.

I am by trade a Fire Fighter, and an EMT and have delt with more death and distruction then most of you all. I have learned that the healing process will slow and will make us stumble if we hide in the shadows of the events that hurt us.

I have spoken to BW about this thread, and we both agree that Honda Enochs question is a fair one to ask, and is not an any way to early. I can not speak for all the pilots and "civilians" effected by this, but I know that untill we come to terms, then we will not heal.

Honda: As for your question.... We are unsure of the fait of the two trains at this point. The NTSB has not as of this post released the trains back to Disney. Its has been rumored that when they are released, then we may combine the two functional ends and create a working train that way... with a new paint job of course. As to the color... that is up in the air, we have been polled by the uper managment about this and have come to the consinsus <sp> that niether color will be used. This is out of respect of those of us that would be hurt mentaly by being in those colors rather then in the physical train.

The second part of your question was about weather or not they would use the "ugly" trains that DL has. That design is in respect to the MARK I and II designs and was to be retro..... as for Bombardier as the builder of our next monrail train... well thats in the air for now... we are hearing that they sold off the mass transit portion of their co. but that is rumored.

In conclussion... We thank you for your support... but please dont flame someone for innocent questions, only those that ask of things that make us retell the day... as for we are unable to by request of the Govt.. The healing for me is almost done....

I've reopened the thread. Everyone play nice now.

Thank you and again i am sorry if I stepped on any toes.

I will add this. IMO I think it would be honorable for them to combine the 2 colors. Like maybe Purple with a pink delta or vice versa, or some other form of using both colors. but on the other hand I agree with what someone said about no mater what color(s) they use it will still be known to all what that train is and may still effect some CM's.

Doc, I too am an ex firefighter and have seen a lot so I do understand. I am not an insensitive jerk. I cried when I heard the news. Not because I knew the CM but because there was a loss of life period.

Anyway, thank you for the answers and I wish all the best.

I have read the threads of stupid guest comments about this and think those people should be tied to the top of the monorail for their trip to wherever they are going.

Thinking of how Black is the only one with the red outline, perhaps the 'homage' could be a purple outline on whatever color they come up with. It's there in memory of for those that know, and subtle enough that it's not likely to attract attention.

Although thinking about it out loud, I could see the above as a number in a trivia book - and that could be insensitive and attract attention.

May I suggest they be tied directly above the resistor grids?

Yes, the reduction of airflow may cause cooling problems, but that should clear up after the first dozen or so laps.

before i officially go on my 'break' from the board i want to apologize publicly to Honda for losing my temper. it wasn't my right to judge you for your question.

just because it was too soon for me to hear it (and i'm not even a cm) doesn't mean i should have assumed that for everyone else would be.

so Honda, i hope you'll accept my apologies.

everybody else...'see ya real soon'...when i get it together over here.
