At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Re: 25 things...
That's funny. I had so many friends tag me on those lists on Facebook I finally broke down and did one last night. Come on here this morning, and there's a thread on this.
So here ya go.
1)I've never seen Blade Runner, which I guess is a major geek faux paus.
2)I've never left the continent of North America.
3)I never think I've been to a state unless I've set foot out of the
car or the airport in it. Driving straight through or having a layover
there doesn't count.
4)My initials are to the left or the right of the space bar on a keyboard.
5)I've also never seen an episode of the new Battlestar Galactica,
which is another major geek faux paus, I guess.
6)I make a good venison chili, according to my friends.
7)Since I consider my life an open book, I find it difficult to find
25 things about myself that people doen't already know.
8)I enjoy vests with many pockets and hawaiian shirts, sometimes at
the same time.
9)I really want a DeLorean, but I do not want to turn it into a Back
To The Future Time Machine.
10) I will get anchovies on my pizza to make sure no one else eats it.
11) I have shifted from being a flaming Trekkie in High School to
being a more well rounded geek, with the exceptions of numbers 1 and
5.
12) The only things that keep me on the right side of sanity are my
wife and the thought of my upcoming daughter.
13) I enjoy building movie prop and costume replicas, and websites,
but don't think I'm very good at it.
14) I find myself using self depreciating humor quite often, not out
of low self esteem, but just out of the desire to make people laugh.
15) I can more about others feelings than my own.
16) Stupid self centered people make me violent.
17) I believe "pants" is one of the funniest words in the English Language.
18) Twilight? I don't get it.
19) I really like me some Pudding Pops.
20) I enjoy reading, but have a tendency to read the same books over,
and over, and over.
21) Pork Chop Sandwiches!
22) Most of my jobs have centered around Entertainment, i.e. Movie
theaters, video game stores, video stores, music stores, comic book
shops, Disneyland, an effects studio, etc.
23) I met my wife on an internet message board dedicated to movie prop
and costume replication.
24) The only beer I can really stomach is Guiness.
25) I like pie. A lot.

Re: 25 things...
These are entertaining!
I'm not sure I can think of 25 things people might not know, since I feel like I'm pretty obvious about who I am.
1. I've had a subscription to National Geographic since 1988, and I blame it entirely for my love of coelacanths and aye-ayes.
2. The first full-length novel I read was The Last Unicorn, when I was 6.
3. I've been online since 1993, and on the WELL (Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link, one of the oldest online communities still in existence) since 1995.
4. I had a crush on one of my trainers at Disney.
5. I'm an INTJ.
6. Despite appearances and aesthetics, I'm not a Goth.
7. I still have my Star Trek (Next Gen) uniform that I got to wear at conventions when I was 15.
8. I'm fluent in American Sign Language... or at least, I once was. My skills have atrophied for lack of practice.
9. I have never had a hangover.
10. In 1998, I took a Greyhound bus from Oregon to Chicago, and then drove to Pennsylvania to attend a reunion of a close-knit e-mail list.
11. I met my boyfriend of two years on OKCupid.
12. My favorite board games are Arkham Horror, Ticket to Ride, Boggle, and Race for the Galaxy.
13. I can recite the Gashlycrumb Tinies and, more obscurely, The Fatal Lozenge from memory. I once won a lunchbox with that trick.
14. My first ballroom dance partner was a full foot taller than me. (I'm 5'2", he was 6'2".) Despite this, we did much better in Standard than in Latin, consistently placing in the top 3 at Silver/Gold syllabus level.
15. I desperately want to swim with cuttlefish and manta rays. But especially cuttlefish.
...Okay, that's enough for now.
