I know when Cinderellabration was playing, they had to stop using the pyro for a bit (the gold stuff on the towers kept catching on fire).turkeyham wrote:How do you catch the Castle on fire? I have never thought it could be done. I thought it is hosed down afterwards?

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Short burst of water. But if the electrician did his job, and they short out, the breaker should trip at the power distribution box.Mayonnaise wrote:How do you hose down something covered in Christmas lights? Electrical fire anyone?

I think they can water down areas after fireworks.
I have seen a thunder storm after Wishes at WDW.
Nothing caught on fire.

Let's Think....It was on Wed January 14th....Mid-Afternoon - I would say about 3 or 4 PM? I only was looking up there trying to see if I could find a decent shot without the crane while they were (I assume) repainting, and was curious about it.ectomstr wrote:That, is a door that leads right to CRT. The seaters (and some of the stewards) use that door to store items (dangerously and wrongly) outside.
On a side note, I'd love to know WHEN the picture was taken. maybe i can finally persuade my managers to keep that door locked at all times.

Re: Visible (Sort of) Backstage Question
I remember a few years back at Disneyland, the fireworks in front of the castle for the 50th caught a christmas tree on fire. It was one of the pin wheels and it tipped over and nailed the tree. No damafe to the castle.
