I know that PnP parties around the corner at WDW so I dont think Capt. Jack is going away from us.....
As far as Mr. Depp goes IMDB is listing these as his up coming roles:
John Dillinger in "Public Enemies"
Tony in "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" ( You have to read the plot of this story)
The Mad Hatter in "Alice in Wonderland"
Rango in "Rango" ( From what I see in the pre-production he will voice a "pet")
Barnabas Collins ( A Vampire ) in "Dark Shadows"
And a former Navy Seal in "Sin City 3"
I wounder when he will don the Capts Hat again??

The Pirate & Princess Parties for the first quarter of 2009 have been canceled. Sorry.

I do believe that Jack Sparrow will return to the park sometime.
I'm not sure that I believe this "flashing" rumor.
Heck, I tend not to put much stock in Internet rumors, especially from message boards. There are so very few reliable Internet sources....
When it comes to Disney news in general, you just can't truly believe it until there is an official press release.

I was told by a CM that there would be no PnP parties for January, February and March. Definitely.
And the Disney Travel Agent site has removed all mention of the parties on their info pages.
I have many unhappy clients!

Well captain Jack was certainly popular on our Disney Cruise. My daughter was absolutly thrilled each time we saw him.

This whole thing is ridiculous. You went and changed my TSI to have a Pirate's Cove but no pirates?
I cannot believe that Captain Jack isn't popular anymore. I do understand about promoting the pixies, but damn those are the 2 of the biggest cash cows right now. After that is the Nightmare stuff.
Has anyone gone into WOD lately? It's all pixies and pirates. Oh, with a dash of Classic Disney thrown in.
Makes me say ARRRRRRR!
In a grouchy way, of course.

Side note: Does this mean there are no pirates roaming about anymore or just Captain Jack is gone? At least give me the pirate band!
