A M & G @ Blue Bayou would be Fantastic!! I'll go there for anything. On property meet would be easiest. I'll sign a few non CMs in. :)

For the proposed dates of travel, that'll be impossible. It is currently down to be decorated for Halloween/Christmas with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme and will stay that way until the first week of January when it closes for approximately three weeks to put it back to normal. So basically from now until the end of January it will not be the original Haunted Mansion.

Unless of course, you just want to go on it and don't care how it's decorated. Then you can come in December and be good. Although, know that it's not the same ride, there are some vast differences when it's decorated for the holidays. I'd be happy to go with you guys and point out where things are in the original, the WDW Mansion is pretty similar to ours.

(I can talk to my managers, and see about getting freebies, since we are part of the same management, and they WANT us to go on the tours, and then I can come WITH you guys!!!)

I don't care if it is decorated for Halloween, I just want to see the inside of the Mansion. Seeing it done up for Halloween would be cool anyway as they don't change the WDW one. Part of it is that I want to see a stretching room that has a function and not just looks.

HOORAY!!! :dancear: elyse and i both LOVE to show off DISNEYLAND! we used to go commando, but we have ap's now, so we're not so much into that now since we figure if we don't go on something this time we'll go next time, but that won't stop us from trying that for you guys...and we do have our little ways ;) ...we can even be out there early in the morning if you'd like us to be...and while we can't give you a walking in walt's footsteps tour, we can show and tell you a lot of background info (some stuff that's not in the tour...we took that tour last year thanks to some guests we met last year who bought it for us...they've since become good friends of ours :D: )...but it's ALWAYS fun to go into the park with people who have never been or haven't been for a long time...

Thanks! Sounds like fun.

Boy, do I agree with your last sentence. Some of the most fun I've had at WDW was going with Turkeyham and her friends to Studios last week.

I'm just thinking, since Disney's Family Holiday Party (aka the DLR Cast Christmas Party) is on 8 and 9 December, if BW and Shorty are able to make it around that time, maybe it would be a good occassion for an SGT meet?

I'm not sure WDW CMs are able to get tickets to the party, but I'm sure a few of us will have spares lying around, lol.

LMAO-- I don't allow my hubby to come with me to the holiday party, so I know I'll have an extra!! Hubby is not a big Disney person--so his behind stays home while I go play!!

I wish I could, but I am going to have my parents (who I haven't seen in six months) and my brother (almost a year) here, so I am not going anywhere... much less across the country! But that sounds fun.... perhaps for next year or something...

To update you, it looks like a good time to expect us might be the week of January 19, perhaps over a weekend or just during the week. I want to maximize my time meeting SGT members from that part of the country who can make it. I will begin working on travel plan soon.

Oh, yeah! Almost forgot to announce, hhsrat wants to come along now, too. You get Rat, Shorty and me together and things turn fun.
