Stupid Guest Tricks

There's a poster over at board x who LOVES to post untrue rumors. He's started some pretty extensive threads about some horrible guest incident that he finally admits he's made up. He's a jerk!

thank god for good CMs who report these left behind kids and make them feel better that lost children. i know someone at DCA lost children and she deals with A LOT of kids who don't speak english. but she's now become a pro at deciphering which language they are speaking and turning the little mermaid dvd to the right language.

lost children already deals with kid mistakes that make them lost. procreation should only be allowed after psychiatric evaluation.

There is a woman from Compton who goes by the name and attitude of Princess over at Disboards. Boy did she spin whoppers and it is sad when people think something is ok like lying and breaking rules. The good thing about disboards is the hardnosed stubborn lot like me who stand up and tell people they are wrong. It is not that bad over at the Disneyland board because it is run by some stern people.

the sad thing is that the princess is really a person age 16 to 23 maybe and is just a normal person craving attention and does not know how to get online friends. I looked at her pictures and could see a lot about her and feel sorry for her for her need to lie to get attention.

Haven't posted in eons, but what the heck, I've got one for you.

About a decade ago, (when I was in Foods), I worked at a location immediately adjacent to the entrance of an E-ticket attraction. Someone noticed a 7-year old girl sitting next to a BABY and no obvious parent around. Oh, by the way, sitting IN THE SUN. I end up sitting with these wee babes for *45 minutes* when finally the parents come up and say (with all the flyover-state twang you'd expect to hear from such dunderheads) "Oh we're so sorry bay-bee, we'll never do that to yew ageeein!"


45 minutes. 7-year old. Baby. Sun. Disneyland. Alone.

(And yes, I felt Lost Children should have been called and the parents should have been forced to go through the emotions that accompany being that effing stupid about your children's safety, but my manager disagreed)

I want a warthog costume, you all keep talking about them!!!! On topic, when our kids were, well kids when we stayed in the Disney hotels we would hire a sitter in the evening to do all the big rides. Used to be a nice "ring" of grandmotherly types from a church group. Kids had fun and went to bed, then we had a great time.

This time however, My kids will be abandoning me and hubby. 2-18 yo and 2-16 yo will be doing what they want between meals, meanwhile I can ride TOT a billion times and Peter Pan, Indy, Space Mountain and ::gulp:: mailboomer.
